Liu Zhiren said that he hoped to give full play to Chenzhou's natural graphite resources advantages, strengthen cooperation with relevant enterprises in Beijing in scientific and technological innovation, jointly expand and strengthen the graphite industry chain, and build the graphite and new material industry into a pillar industry in Chenzhou.

Graphite and new materials industry is one of the five key industries in the city determined by the Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government. During his stay in Beijing, Liu Zhiren and his delegation inspected Beijing Graphite Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. and China Building Materials Group successively, and docked with enterprises on technological innovation, scientific research cooperation and talent sharing of graphite industry, to win the attention and support of relevant enterprises for the development of Chenzhou graphite industry.

In Beijing Graphene Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., Liu Zhiren had a detailed understanding of the enterprise development and the development trend of graphene industry. Liu Zhiren said that Chenzhou has abundant graphite resources, and hoped that Beijing Graphite Research Institute would lay out Chenzhou as a platform for graphene innovation research, promote the deep integration of innovation advantages and resource advantages, break through a number of technical difficulties in the field of graphene and advanced carbon materials, further expand and extend the industrial chain, and enhance product added value to help Chenzhou to accelerate the development of graphite industry and foster new economic growth points.

In China Building Materials Group, Liu Zhiren held talks with Song Zhiping, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Building Materials Group, on further deepening cooperation in graphite industry. Liu Zhiren said that he would like to thank China for its contribution to the integration of graphite resources and the development of industrial chain since its investment in Chenzhou. He also said that Chenzhou will continue to actively serve China's building materials in Chenzhou project in terms of safety production and environmental protection, solve problems in time and eliminate potential safety hazards.
