Recently, the Hunan Health Science and Education Work Conference was held in Changsha in 2019. More than 320 heads and managers from the Department of Science, Technology and Education, Health Commission and the training bases of the provinces and cities participated in the meeting.
At the meeting, representatives of 7 units exchanged experiences on Biosafety management, scientific research capacity improvement, resident training, and the construction of medical association. Zheng Haijun, Vice President of Chenzhou Fourth People's Hospital, reported on the development of assistant general practitioner training in Chenzhou by taking multiple measures to build the"Chenzhou model"of assistant general practitioner training. Chenzhou Fourth People's Hospital was awarded the honorary title of "Hunan Provincial Excellent Training Base for Assistant General Practitioners". Xie Hongwu, the tutor of assistant students, and Ou Yan, the assistant general practitioner, were awarded the titles of "Hunan Provincial Assistant General Practitioner Training Excellent Teaching Teacher" and "Hunan Provincial Excellent Assistant General Practitioner" respectively.
Finally, Zhu Yimin, Deputy Director of the Provincial Health Commission, made an important speech on "seeking truth and pragmatism, pioneering and innovating, and providing strong scientific and technological and talent support for the construction of healthy Hunan".
Since Chenzhou Fourth People's Hospital became the first training base for assistant general practitioners in Hunan Province in 2016, it has taken "Healthy China" as its own responsibility and made great efforts to integrate resources and build brand base around the construction of training base. Chenzhou Fourth People's Hospital will further improve the teaching system of the training base and innovate the training mode, aiming at cultivating comprehensive quality talents based on the competence of general practitioners in rural areas and the concept of general practitioner service, and striving to create a new situation in the teaching of assistant general practitioners and general practitioners' transfer training to contribute to the construction of grass-roots medical personnel.
