On the afternoon of August 27, Yi Pengfei, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, specially dispatched the project of Chenzhou Gaoqiao import and export commodity exhibition and trading center. Yi Pengfei stressed that we should thoroughly implement the series of important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on opening wider to the outside world and take the construction of Chenzhou Gaoqiao import and export commodity exhibition and trading center as the starting point. We will vigorously introduce and cultivate backbone, large-scale and high-quality foreign trade and export-oriented economic entities, industrial entities and enterprises, and strive to create "one base and five centers" to promote the high quality development of Chenzhou's foreign trade.

Gaoqiao market in Hunan Province is the only pilot market of market procurement trade mode in Hunan Province. The export volume in 2019 was 650 million US dollars, and this year's market procurement export volume reached 500 million US dollars, ranking first in central and Western China. Chenzhou Gaoqiao import and export commodity exhibition and trading center is located in Lishushan District of the city. It is planned to build "one base and five centers" in two phases with a construction period of three years. It is planned to create "one base and five centers", namely, the South Hunan base of national market procurement trade mode pilot, the southern Hunan center of Sino African Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Park, the South Hunan import and export commodity exhibition and trade center, the Hong Kong and Macao high-end commodity distribution center, and international trade (market procurement) comprehensive service center, Xiangnan cross-border e-commerce business incubation center.

Yi Pengfei pointed out that it is necessary to further enrich and improve the contract terms, stipulate the responsibilities of both parties and clarify the plan objectives in combination with the preparation of the "14th five-year plan" of Chenzhou. The relevant units and departments should strengthen the docking and consultation with Gaoqiao Company, actively do the preliminary work, fully support the project to start as soon as possible, and accelerate the high-quality development of Chenzhou's foreign trade and export-oriented economy.

Liu Qidong, Chairman of Gaoqiao Huayi Group, said that they would further strengthen the docking, identify the positioning, clarify the target, and reverse the construction period, so as to ensure the orderly and effective promotion of cooperation, and make contributions to the high-quality development of Chenzhou's foreign trade and export-oriented economy.
