On September 11, the opening ceremony of the 12th Hunan Tea Expo in 2020 and the promotion meeting of Chenzhou Fu Tea Brand were held in Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center. 25 tea enterprises authorized by the geographical indication of Chenzhou Fu Tea were invited to participate in the expo.

Vice Governor Sui Zhongcheng and other leaders came to Chenzhou Fu Tea House for tea tasting with great interest. They spoke highly of the quality characteristics of Chenzhou Fu Tea, and put forward guiding opinions on the development of ten billion tea industry in our city.

At the opening ceremony, Vice Mayor Chen Rongwei, and Liu Zhonghua, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Professor of Hunan Agricultural University, successively introduced Chenzhou Fu Tea. Chenzhou Fu Tea is a public tea brand created by our city. With its profound cultural heritage of Fu Tea and excellent regional quality characteristics of tea, it has a clear and long aroma, strong and mellow taste. In 2019, it won the certification trademark of China geographical indication issued by the State Intellectual Property Office.

At the provincial Tea Expo, our city's tea enterprises and domestic and foreign tea merchants signed 11 framework agreements for Chenzhou Fu Tea production and marketing docking projects, including organic tea planting, tea tourism and health culture industrial park, export trade and other investment promotion projects, with a contract amount of about 200 million yuan. Zhou Nong, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, and Dai Daojin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Provincial Committee, attended the opening ceremony.
