Hunan FTZ Chenzhou Area injects new momentum into growth

Shanghai Jinhuasuan Digital Economy Industrial Park settled in Chenzhou, one part of China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone on July 31. It takes only two months to start construction, which will effectively promote the industrial digitization and digital industrialization in Chenzhou. 

 

As one of the three areas of China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Chenzhou Area was unveiled on September 24, 2020. It covers an area of 19.84 square kilometers, and is located in Chenzhou High-tech Zone. 
 
Chenzhou takes Chenzhou Area as a new engine for deepening industrial restructuring, a new driving force for development and a new guide for promoting reform and opening up. 
 
The city has closely connected with Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area, negotiated with Shenzhen Science and Industry Park, China Everbright Group, Liye Group, etc.
 
Since the approval of Chenzhou Area, it has introduced 25 projects such as southwest logistics industrial park of Xingsheng Youxuan, Chenzhou intelligent manufacturing technological park o Guangdong Handian Group, with a total contract amount of more than 11 billion yuan. 
 
To introduce more projects and promote industrial development, Chenzhou has provided quality services for the construction of projects. It has also made great efforts in the construction of logistics channels, the innovation of the supervision mode of packaging material recycling in the zone, and the import policies for cross-border e-commerce.  
 
At present, there are 830 registered enterprises in Chenzhou Area. Last year, Changge Intelligent was established and put into operation within 40-odd days. The head of the company highly praised the city’s speed as fast as Shenzhen. 
 
Amer New Material Science and Technology City was put into operation recently, with an annual output of 100,000 tons of precise cooper bars and an annual output value of nearly 6 billion yuan. It filled the blank of copper-based new materials in Hunan, and it will extend Chenzhou nonferrous metal industrial chain and boost the transformation and upgrading of processing trade. 
 
From January to July this year, Chenzhou Area of China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone completed the total volume of foreign trade of 11.417 billion yuan, and the foreign investment in actual use was 13.32 million dollars.
