Beihu District of Chenzhou city attaches great importance to the construction of leading enterprises and key projects and cultivation of leading industries to boost high-quality development of regional economy. 

 

In the first half of this year, the industries of Beihu District maintained good momentum of development, and the added value of large-scale industry reached 12.5%, ranking first in the city.

 

"From January to July, we achieved industrial output of around 1 billion yuan, and the tin industry saw a sound momentum of development," said Chen Xiongjun, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Yunnan Tin Chenzhou Mining and Metallurgy Co., Ltd. Its tin strips are widely used in the electronics industry, home appliance manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, maintenance business and daily life.

 

 

 

In the sixth Party Congress of Beihu District, industrial transformation was put forward, which also provides more impetus for the transformation and upgrading of enterprises. By transformation and innovation, Hunan Haidewei Technology Co., Ltd., located in Chenzhou Economic Development Zone, has been transformed into a science and technology-oriented industrial enterprise with 13 invention patents and 46 copyrights of computer software.

 

At present, Haidewei has built a new plant of more than 36,000 square meters. At the end of this month, the company will relocate. It is expected that by 2022, more than 300 people will be employed by the company and its annual output value will reach 250 million yuan.

 

Since this year, Beihu District has promoted upgrading of resource-based industries and high-quality industrial development by focusing on industrial chains, industrial parks, innovation, enterprise support and investment attraction. 

 

At present, there are 95 large-scale industrial enterprises in such fields as graphite new materials, electronic information new materials, food and medicine, and advanced equipment manufacturing in Beihu District, with an annual output value of more than 20 billion yuan.
