15th Hunan-Taiwan Cooperation Promotion Conference held in Chenzhou

The 15th Hunan-Taiwan Cooperation Promotion Conference was held in Chenzhou City, Hunan Province on October 22.

Located in Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone, the industrial park is the fifth cross-strait industrial cooperation zone approved in July 2021. With an area of 43 square kilometers, it is specialized in non-ferrous metal processing, electronic information, equipment manufacturing, modern service industry, etc.

For a long time, Chengzhou has introduced preferential policies for the cross-strait development and cooperation. The conference will further promote the in-depth cooperation between enterprises in Chenzhou and Taiwan, and the exchange of talents.

“Welcome you all to Chenzhou, and this will mark the starting point of our win-win cooperation.” Yang Yunpeng, chairman of Hunan Jushen Electronics Co., Ltd introduced the city from the perspectives of preferential policies, financial supporting services, transportation and logistics, etc. Founded in 2001, Hunan Jushen Eletronic Co., Ltd is headquartered in Chenzhou, with its branches in Chongqing and Shenzhen and a wholly-owned subsidiary in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is engaged in research and development, design, production and sales of power switches and intelligent electronic products. In 2020, it achieved the sales volume of 2.28 billion yuan and exported goods worth 70 million US dollars. At present, the company is making preparations for IPO, and striving to get listed within 2-3 years.

During the conference, 15 Taiwan-funded projects signed agreements with Chenzhou, with a total investment of 1.859 billion yuan. To establish business relationships, the local government paid several visits to Taiwan-funded enterprises, and the enterprises also went to industrial parks in Chenzhou for investment measures and negotiations. The signed projects will better advance the sound development of Chenzhou.

 

After the conference, the participants paid a visit to Taiwanese enterprises in Chenzhou High-tech Zone and had a general idea of the overall planning of cross-straits cooperation. In the next stage, the city will remain committed to inviting investment and building industrial clusters in electronic information, equipment manufacturing, non-ferrous metal processing and modern services.
