This is a key project of Zixing City, with the construction area of 134,700 square meters and the total investment of 100 million yuan. It includes two buildings used for data machines, talent apartments and a big data R&D center. 

 

“The bidding work for process equipment decoration in the big data buildings is underway, which will be completed in the middle of this month. In April next year, the decoration and equipment installation will be completed and the buildings can be put into use then,” said Yang Zhenhua, head of the project. 

 

 

Given the cold water resources, Dongjianghu Big Data Center, which is located in Zixing, Chenzhou City, vigorously develops big data industry and uses natural water cooling technology to cool the machine rooms. The PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) value has always been maintained between 1.05 and 1.18, and the energy consumption and operating cost have been reduced by about 40%. It’s the most energy-saving green data center in China now. Zixing’s superior ecological resources and good business environment have attracted many investors. 

 

 

“At present, about five enterprises negotiated with us about the investment promotion and operation and maintenance of this project, including Huawei, Shaanxi Yunchuang and Hunan Fengyun Tongda Information Technology Co., Ltd., China Unicom and China Mobile, which have signed agreements with us, with 200 racks each,” Yang added.

 

 

After completion, this project can accommodate 5,880 racks and generate an estimated sales revenue of 250 million yuan. It will further promote the leapfrog and integrated development of Zixing’s big data industry, endows the transformation and upgrading of the park, so as to boost the high-quality development of the economy and society in Zixing.
