On January 8, the signing ceremony for the first batch of projects in Chenzhou High-tech Zone and China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone Chenzhou Area was held.
There are 12 projects involving electronic information, digital economy, new energy, new materials, intelligent manufacturing, deep processing of non-ferrous metals and other fields, with an investment of 5.7 billion yuan.
Liu Zhiren, Party secretary of Chenzhou City, noted that Chenzhou has been striving to integrate into Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from all aspects of economy and society.
This batch of manufacturing and related supporting projects come from the Greater Bay Area, which are not only the key projects to help Chenzhou build “five hundred-billion-yuan industries”, but also the important drivers for Chenzhou to deeply participate in the industrial division and cooperation of the Greater Bay Area. The signing and settlement of the projects will also greatly promote economic transformation and foster new economic growth engines for Chenzhou, Liu Zhiren added.
