Welding electrode company gaining more overseas orders

2022-03-02

Wang Kai, a resident of Shigaitang Town of Beihu District, Chenzhou, started to work on the morning of February 8.

He has worked at Hunan Xianggong Environmental Protection Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. since 2018, which is near his home and offers him a decent salary.

Hunan Xianggong Environmental Protection Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. engaged in the production and the sale of welding electrodes, has lifted its annual sales from 20 million yuan to 150 million yuan since its establishment in Shigaitang Town in 2018.

He Shunda, general manager of the company, said: “Our annual sales have doubled every year. And this year it is expected to achieve 300 billion yuan.”

The reason why He stays optimistic about the prospect of his company is that it boasts various quality products. As the largest production base for special welding electrodes in southern China, the company has cooperated with such higher education institutions as Xiangtan University to innovate and improve the quality of its products, gaining recognition both at home and abroad.

Under the implementation of Belt and Road Initiative, the company has expanded its business to the world.

He said: “We have got many foreign clients via such international fairs and meetings as China Import and Export Fair.” The company received countless overseas orders after those foreign clients visited its production plants. It has got numerous orders before the Spring Festival vacation and is now working at full capacity to produce as many products as possible, thus completing tasks on schedule. At present, the company is busy with production for the order from an Indonesian client.

“This Indonesian friend has ordered a total of 1,000 tons from our company last year,” said He.

Overseas orders account for one third of the company’s orders now. He revealed that his company would strive to make the proportion reach 60 percent this year.
