Jiahe High-tech Zone is the only provincial-level high-tech industrial development zone based on its casting industry. It has been committed to the transformation and upgrading of the casting industry and the innovative development of the mechanical equipment manufacturing industry. 

 

 

 

To date, there are 143 enterprises above designated size, 42 high-tech enterprises, 82 technology-based SMEs, and 18 provincial-level and above little giant enterprises. 

 

Jiahe High-tech Zone is playing an increasingly prominent role in driving the high-quality development of Jiahe County. 

 

It has won many titles, including the capital of casting in Jiangnan (the regions south of the Yangtze River), a provincial casting characteristic industrial park. 

 

Jiahe County is the pilot county of China’s casting industry cluster, the casting industry base of Hunan province, and the town of forging in China, a green forging development base. 

 

Jiahe casting industrial cluster is an advanced manufacturing industrial cluster in the province. After years of development, the industrial cluster scale has been continuously expanded, with a complete industrial chain and the significant industrial aggregation and demonstration effect, which is at the forefront of the country.

 

Now, its casting products cover copper, aluminum, steel, alloy cast steel and other high-strength alloy castings, with thousands of varieties. These products are sold in Guangdong, Guangxi, Shanghai and other domestic markets, exported to more than 30 countries and regions including Europe, America, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

 

In recent years, the county has taken the casting industry as the first industry, and continuously promoted the transformation and upgrading of the casting industry to modern equipment manufacturing.

 

In 2023, the casting production of Jiahe’s casting industrial cluster reached 2 million tons, ranking first in the province in scale, achieving a total industrial output value of 18 billion yuan, accounting for 76.9% of the total industrial output value of the county. 

 

At the meeting, some key enterprises released information on their production and demands, and signed contracts for investment attraction, supply and demand, university-enterprise cooperation, dispatch of technicians, and etc.

 

The event achieved significant results. Local modern equipment enterprises reached strategic contracts for production and marketing valued at 6.12 billion yuan. 6 investment cooperation projects worth 2.99 billion yuan were signed. 100 scientific research achievements from universities were released, and 6 universities first reached cooperation intentions.
