Kan Baoyong, Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, announced the commencement of the project. Qiu Huawei, Party Secretary and President of CR Sanjiu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Ding Xiaobing, Secretary of Hunan regional working committee of CR Group, Xu Huaihao, He Zunqing and Pan Zhikun, municipal leaders, attended the commencement ceremony. Luo Chenghui, Secretary of Beihu District Party Committee and Secretary of Chenzhou Economic Development Zone Party committee, presided over the ceremony. The project of production and manufacturing center of CR Sanjiu (Chenzhou) South China Area, which is started, has a total investment of RMB 1billion, covering an area of 232 mu, and is constructed in two phases. It is expected to be completed in May 2023. After the project is constructed, it is expected to achieve business income of 1.2 billion yuan, annual profit and tax of 320 million yuan, and annual tax of RMB 100 million, and 480 employment will be solved.

Qiu Huawei, President of CR Sanjiu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., said that the project of CR Sanjiu (Chenzhou) South China manufacturing center (Economic Development Zone) is based in Chenzhou and radiates South China, which is of great significance in the strategic layout of CR Sanjiu. The purpose of the project is to promote the culture of traditional Chinese medicine, innovate on the basis of inheritance, promote the upgrading and transformation of traditional Chinese medicine manufacturing, build a digital advanced manufacturing and quality control system of traditional Chinese medicine, realize high-quality product manufacturing, enhance the value of traditional Chinese medicine, and establish a competitive advantage in the industry. At the same time, in response to the national initiative, they should develop "green pharmaceutical", build an environmental protection and innovative factory, and strive to build the South China manufacturing center of CR Sanjiu (Chenzhou) into a demonstration base of domestic traditional Chinese medicine manufacturing industry with "ecological beauty, production beauty, innovation beauty, humanistic beauty and office beauty", so as to promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine industry and Chenzhou's economy.

Kan Baoyong said at the commencement ceremony that CR Sanjiu has been rooted in Chenzhou for many years and has been deeply engaged in the production and manufacturing of traditional Chinese medicine. It is a pillar enterprise supported by the municipal Party committee and the municipal government. Today's CR Sanjiu South China manufacturing center project, with high technology content, high investment intensity and great contribution to finance and taxation, will play an important role in promoting the development of Chenzhou's traditional Chinese medicine industry, strengthening the park economy and accelerating the industrial transformation and upgrading. Departments at all levels should thoroughly implement the directive spirit of the Party's the fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping to inspect in Chenzhou, and fully serve the project construction. Project owners and construction units should pay close attention to the construction and complete the project as soon as possible under the premise of grasping the epidemic prevention and control and ensuring the quality and safety.
