On the afternoon of October 28, the Chenzhou Nonferrous Metal Industry Development Forum was held.

After years of development, Chenzhou Nonferrous Metal Industry has formed a relatively complete industrial system. In 2019, there were 139 large-scale nonferrous metal enterprises in the city, with an accumulated operating revenue of 77.6 billion yuan, of which 26 enterprises have an operating income of more than 1 billion yuan.

During the discussion and exchange, academicians and experts had in-depth exchanges with entrepreneurs, leaders in charge of municipal units and counties (cities, districts) and persons in charge of key nonferrous enterprises in Chenzhou. They jointly discussed the existing problems, solutions, development direction and development measures of Chenzhou nonferrous metal industry, and explained the policies and development trends of nonferrous metal industry in Chenzhou. At the same time, the academicians and experts answered the difficult problems raised by the participating enterprises and departments one by one, and put forward reasonable suggestions on the future development of nonferrous metals industry and nonferrous enterprises.

He Zunqing, Vice Mayor, said that the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology should summarize the opinions and suggestions put forward by academicians and experts at the meeting and incorporate them into the formulation of the "14th Five-year Plan". Departments at all levels and relevant enterprises should further consider how to create a new situation, grasp the trend and seize the opportunity under the new development trend in the period of the "14th Five-year Plan" and the new development pattern. He hoped that all academicians and experts would continue to care for and support the development of Chenzhou, and support and help the development of Chenzhou enterprises.
