Hsianghualite

Hsianghualite can be found in the contact zone between granite and limestone. To be more exact, associated with fluorite, lithium beryllium stone, beryllium magnesium spar, cassiterite, scheelite and etc. it can be found in biotite reef of beryllium-containing rocks with white stripes. The crystal is generally beige or white and occasionally viridescent or colorless and transparent. The usual size of hsianghualite, a caviar-egg-shaped fine crystal, is about 1-2 mm. The largest hsianghualite known is 12mm and kept in Museum of Geology and Mineral Resources of China.
