On April 22, the local villagers planted the lotuses in the lotus base of Yangtian Village, Liaojiang Town, Zixing City. Through the mode of “company + base + farmers", more than 700 mu of idle farmlands all are used for planting new varieties of lotus in shallow water. It not only revitalizes the idle resources in rural areas, but also leads the villagers to get rich.
