On April 16, the Chenzhou Municipal Office for Promoting Socio-economic and Municipal Public Security Bureau jointly issued the "Construction Environment Rectification Program of Industrial Project Construction in Chenzhou in 2018" to comprehensively start the construction environment rectification of industrial project construction in Chenzhou City.

The program clears that the rectification activities should be carried out by Chenzhou Municipal Office for Promoting Socio-economic and Municipal Public Security Bureau. Chenzhou Municipal Office for Promoting Socio-economic should be specifically responsible for the outstanding problems existing in the construction of the project, organize the relevant government departments at all levels to carry out a comprehensive survey of the industrial projects in the city, resolve a number of contradictions and disputes, report a batch of typical cases every quarter, and purify the construction environment; should make open and secret investigations on the problems of omission, slow action, misbehavior and prevarication in the construction of the project, and transfer the relevant case clues to the Municipal Style Office for supervision and accountability in a timely manner. The Municipal Public Security Bureau should be responsible for severely cracking down on illegal and criminal activities such as requesting for money, forbidding projects, stopping working, buying and selling buy or sell by force, stealing construction equipment, and so on, and vigorously rectifying the public security environment around key industrial projects.

The rectification action aims to focus on solving the outstanding problems that hinder the construction of the project, severely cracking down on illegal and criminal activities in the process of industrial project construction, further optimizing the construction environment of industrial projects, and promoting the implementation of industrial projects in the whole city to ensure the early completion of the "Industrial Project Construction Year" activities in Chenzhou City.
