Recently, the list of new industrial demonstration bases (the fourth batch) in Hunan Province was released, and Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park was selected successfully.

In recent years, our city has given full play to the advantages of Dongjiang Lake cold water, power and other resources, and planned to build a 4500 mu Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park, which can accommodate 200000 racks, 5 million servers and more than 1000 Internet enterprises. The Park has vigorously implemented precise investment promotion to attract China Telecom, Hunan Cloud Nest and other enterprises.

Since the operation of Dongjiang Lake Big Data Center, the PUE value has been kept between 1.05 and 1.16, saving more than 50 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually. Due to the use of Dongjiang Lake natural cold source for cooling, the energy consumption and operation cost of Dongjiang Lake Big Data Center has been reduced by about 40 percent, and it has become one of the most energy-saving data centers in the country.

At present, Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park has been included in the first batch of national incremental power distribution reform pilot, and approved as provincial E-government cloud platform remote disaster recovery center, Hunan Big Data Industrial Park and "Hunan Data Disaster Recovery Center" of China Telecom Group. The "Opinions on Further Encouraging the Development of Mobile Internet Industry" of Hunan Province and the "three-year action plan for the development of big data industry and the improvement of information and communication infrastructure capacity of Hunan Province" all included Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park in the key support scope.
