Since its establishment in September 1962, the maternal and child health hospital has developed from a basic medical service institution into a second-class Grade A maternal and child health hospital that integrates health care, clinical care, emergency treatment, rehabilitation, scientific research, teaching, and family planning technology services.

 

Nowadays, it has become a hospital under the technical guidance of Hunan Maternal and Child Health Hospital and a hospital designated by Hunan Children’s Hospital for clinical guidance. It performs multiple important functions such as the treatment of critically ill pregnant women and disabled children in the county, serving as a solid force to safeguard the health of women and children in the county.

 

 

As of now, the application level of the hospital’s electronic medical record system has passed the four level review. The technical service ability as a prenatal screening institutions has reached the standard. The performance has been included among the best maternal and child health care institutions in the city for four consecutive years. 

 

The hospital has won honorary titles such as the “exemplary organization of the Hunan Family Planning Association’s Guidance Work on Sound Child Rearing”, “Hunan Women’s Health Discipline Innovation Award”, and “Hunan Popular Science Base”.

 

 

 

The establishment of Guiyang Women and Children’s Hospital will further enhance the professional level of medical and health services for women and children in the county to provide stronger guarantees for their health.
