The exhibition comprehensively displays the basic teaching achievements of illustrations in various art colleges and universities in China, presents the current situation of basic teaching of illustrations in China and excellent achievements of basic teaching construction of illustration specialty. 

 

Xiangnan University is the only local comprehensive undergraduate college among the participating universities. 

 

 

A seminar on basic illustrations in colleges and universities was held at the same time. The participants from Xiangnan University introduced the medical illustration, illustration media practice, folk art and illustration in the basic teaching of illustrations in the university, focusing on the characteristic teaching of “integration of art and medicine”. 

 

 

In recent years, the School of Fine Arts and Design of Xiangnan University has participated in a series of national famous exhibitions, lectures, workshops, etc.. The level of basic teaching of illustration has been continuously improved with distinct characteristics.
