Some citizens were riding public bikes of Chenzhou city

Public bikes were ready for use

It was learned that public bike renting system was officially opened to public in Chenzhou city on July 1, 2014. All citizens are capable to get a card from some service stations set in Chenzhou Government Affairs Center and Chenzhou Urban Management and Administration Bureau.

It was introduced the public bike system of Chenzhou city was launched in last September with 6.19million yuan investment. 500 bikes of the first batch were mainly placed some main roads of eastern new district, parks, gardens and some tourism landscapes. 12 renting stops were set along the lines. They were Wuling Square, Shiliuwan Ecological Park, Ailian Park, Wangxianling landscape, Chenzhou Vocational Technical Institute, Chenzhou Convention and Exhibition Center (Xiangnan University), Linyi Park, Chenzhou Export and Processing Zone(right in front of the administrative area), Xihe Wetland Park, Xihe Beach Park, Chenzhou Sports Center, and Suxian Lake (right in front of Chenzhou Technician Institute). All the stops were connected with the green channel of Chenjiang river and “three lakes and one industrial zone” as well.

This public bike would be covered into digital urban management system. It would be for 24-hour service. The first 2 hours would be free of charge. If longer than 2 hours but less than 4 hours, it would be charged 2yuan/hour, but if longer than 4hours, it would be charged 4yuan/hour.
