It was reported that the press conference of 2014 China (Chenzhou) Four-nation Basketball Tournament was held in Chenzhou city. As learned from the press conference, all the preparation work for this tournament was handled out well currently.

It was introduced that the tournament would be held in the comprehensive gymnasium of Chenzhou Sports Center from August 27 to 29, 2014. China, America, New Zealand and Slovenia would attend this game.

It was significant to show and promote Chenzhou city, popularize the fame of Chenzhou city, promote the establishment of sports city, mobilize fitness activities in Chenzhou city and accelerate the construction of opening and modern Chenzhou city by holding this tournament. In order to well handle this tournament, a high level organizing committee was established in Chenzhou city. As required by the all member meeting, all preparation work should be followed with “high level standards, high efficiency, and high quality”. Food, accommodation and transportation should be arranged with specified standards. At the meantime, the departments of public security, armed police, firefighting, transportation, sanitary, epidemic prevention, and etc. should work together to ensure the safe condition of the tournament. Furthermore, better propaganda work should be carried out to popularize the tournament.

Concerned for the ticket issue, 6 games would be held in the 3 competition day, 2 games for each day. The first game would be started at 7:30p.m. on each competition day. One ticket is workable for 2 games of the day. The ticket costs 80yuan, 100yuan, 200yuan, 400yuan and 600yuan for different level. 80yuan and 100yuan tickets are 50% of the total. People can buy the tickets in Chenzhou Sports Center, Chenzhou New Tianhan Arts and Performance Center, Chenzhou Radio Station 102.8channel, and some shopping malls, communities, and etc. There is also hotline available for booking.
