It was learned from the organization committee of third mineral & gem show that the implementation program for its summit forum and science activities was released officially. The summit forum would be held on May 21, 2015. Some politicians, top collectors, leaders of scientific community and industries, museums and famous exhibitors from China and abroad would be invited to share latest achievements, latest technologies, and excellent species of minerals and gems, and share their ideas on promoting the communication of global resources, science and technologies, and culture, and improving the continuous development of the industry.

It was introduced that the theme of the third China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Show was confirmed as “the preservation and utilization of geologic relics”. The forum would be handled out by four contents of speeches: first, minerals, fossils and some other natural relics’value of scientific research and scientific popularization; second, utilization, preservation and collection of minerals, fossils and some other natural relics; third, development and construction of mineral park and geological park; and forth, the development of mineral & gem industry. Dr. Jiang Jianjun- Director of Science and Technology and International Cooperation Department of the State Ministry of Land and Resources would be the host of the forum. 8-10 guests would be invited to deliver their speeches there. The place of the forum was confirmed on the first floor’s multifunctional hall of Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center where is about 650 square meters big and with the capacity of covering more than 600 audiences.

The main contents for the science programs are as follow: forum of the popularization of science which would be hosted by Jia Yueming- Curator of Geological Museum of China; salon for fans and collectors; students’ visiting day; visitors’shopping; scientific investigation for mineral park and place of production; and presentation of assembling of exhibition books.
