Chenzhou is getting closer to the world. It was learned from the organization committee of 2012 China Hunan international tourism festival & the 2nd China Chenzhou international leisure tourism festival that some international cooperation projects will be settled in the festival opening ceremony; for instance, leadership coordination committee of Hunan “two-oriented society” construction reformation pilot zone will sign the cooperation frame with ICPR of Rhine protection to work together on the treatment and protection of Xiangjiang River and Rhine; Chenzhou government will establish the tourism alliance with world northern latitude 25℃ hot spring area to promote the comprehensive marketing of tourism resources; Dongjiang Lake will ally with Zhangjiajie and Lake Geneva to boost its tourism development.

Rhine is a model of harmonious coexistence between man and nature, which has achieved both ecology and economy development with the name of environment protection. As the mother river of Hunan province, Xiangjiang River helps to cultivate the splendid Hunan culture and is concerned for its future development as well. In the opening ceremony of the festival, the two rivers will start their cooperation.

Thanks to its unique climatic and geological features, there are many hot springs in northern latitude 25℃ area. In China, if taking Chenzhou heaven hot spring, Longnv hot spring, Rucheng hot spring in the south of Hunan as the center of the belt, there are Beitou hot spring of Taiwan in the east and Tengchong hot spring of Yunnan in the west.
On the opening ceremony of 2012 China Hunan international tourism festival & 2nd Chenzhou international leisure and tourism cultural festival on September 12, 2012, the tourism resources with same ecological characteristic at the same latitude will be gathered together. The tourism representatives from Chenzhou, Xiamen, Kunming,Longsheng, Tengchong, Mexico, Burma, Egypt and other cities will sign the memorandum of cooperation to forge the “northern latitude 25°& hot spring tourism circle” and reach the resource integration across regions.

Zhangjiajie is a famous mountain landscape with fantastic mountains, rocks and water while Dongjiang Lake is a famous lake landscape with the fame of “south Dongting Lake”. Both the two landscapes show the graceful image of Hunan province to the world. In the opening ceremony, the two will ally with each other to create the top brand of Hunan with the name of “mountains & water”.

Dongjiang Lake is honored as “eastern Switzerland” which has many similarities with Lake Geneva, the biggest lake in Alps Lake belts located between Switzerland and France. Through this alliance, it can bring more international fame for Dongjianghu Lake and guarantee Chenzhou with more tourism business chances.
