What does the ancient path look? Just go with the 2800 hiking enthusiasts you can get the answer. On September 16, 2012, the launching ceremony of 90kms hinny ancient path hiking activity was held in Yuhou street of Chenzhou city. 2800 attendants started from there to trace the cultural heritage of hinny ancient path with thousands of years. During their trips, they would go through Wanshou Bridge, Lishuxia, Zhelingtou, Zhongxia square and other places full of the traces of ascendants.

There were much more attendants compared with that of last year. The youngest player was only 6 years old, while the oldest one was at the age of 65. What’s more, besides the attendants from Hunan province, there were more enthusiasts from other provinces such as Guangdong, Anhui, Jiangxi, even Shanxi province.

It was learned from the Director of Chenzhou Sports Bureau that this hiking activity was listed as one of the key sport brands for Chenzhou city’s construction of Sports City. Different from last year, this organization has the way extended to attract more enthusiasts online. Meanwhile, the government has invested more money on the repairing of this ancient path, which can bring the attendants new experiences during the trip.

It was the first time for Wu Houda- one of the teammates from Mangshan savage team to attend this activity. He arrived at the Wanshou bridge station firstly. But according to the rule of hiking, he could only get the arrival stamp together with his teammates.

The youngest attendants- Peng Xinyi who was from Changsha city went together with her parents. As said by her parents, the main purpose for attending this activity was to enrich the child’s experience in different sports. It was interesting to hike on this ancient path with fresh air and beautiful sceneries. Though it was a little tired during the whole hiking, they would try their best to hike longer way.

On the trip of this hiking, more moved stories were recorded on this ancient path. in order to go through the whole trip, four teammates were tied up with each other by one strip. The most precious experience for them was to attend the activity and enjoy the journey rather than the money awarded. Finally, Nanling outdoor team won the praise by finishing the hiking with just 5 hours. Till 18:00 of the day, more than 600 attendants walked through this journey with 90kms.
Chenzhou municipal leaders - Mao Tengfei, Li Xiping and Li Xuelian participated in the launching ceremony and encouraged all the hiking attendants.
