Located at about 45 kilometers away from Chenzhou City, Mount Wugai International Hunting Field is the second international hunting field in China, and the only one in the south of Yangtze River. This area is the habitat for more than 130 kinds of wild animals, such as sambar, barking deer, wild boar, fox, hare, silver pheasant, and red-breast pheasant and so on. It is divided into two zones: one closed and the other opened. Also there are six hunting stations equipped with hunting instructors, hunting dogs and hunting facilities. It is warm in winter and cool in summer, which makes it an ideal scenic spot to spend holidays in summer. Headed by the hunting, it has developed into a characteristic scenic spot for adventure, holidays, tourism and scientific investigation.

How to get there:

First take a bus to Tou’an at the South Bus Station, then take a motorbike to get there.

There are single rooms, double rooms and triple rooms in Fenglin Village in the hunting ground.

1)    The price of animals (including fees of wildlife resources)

The animals (except pheasant and lepus sinensis) are under state's second-class or third-class protection.

note: ① The charging is based on the wounded animals.

          ② Other small animals will be charged by classification from 1 to 5 US. Dollars.

2)     Miscellaneous service charges (dollar)

①    Wide camping fee: 25 dollars/day, board expenses: 15 dollars/time (in all: 40 dollars)

②    Fees for hunt-guide: 10 dollars/per guide

③    Tour service fees: 10 dollars/per guide

④    Hunting equipment (shotgun, hunting knife, lighting devices, luggage and 4 bullets): 17 dollars/person

⑤    Hunting costume: 5 dollars/time

⑥    Admission ticket: 20 dollars/person (no less than 5 sight spots)

3)    Accommodation fee (by the dollar)
1.    High-grade room: single room 40 dollars, standard room 30 dollars;
2.    Medium-grade room: triple room 20 dollars, quadruple room 20 dollars.
