Huilong Mountain, crowned as the "ancient south sacred mountain (Gunanyue in Chinese)", is among the top 8 ancient sceneries in Zixin. Located in the village of Yao, northeastern Zixin, the mountain covers an area of 16 square kilometers with the highest peak of 1,420 meters. The mountain got its name for its shape: meandering like a swimming dragon.

Nurturing by over two 2,000 years of religious culture and the primitive local culture of Yao nationality, the mountain presents its lofty beauty and elegance. On the top of the mountain there is a Gunanyue Temple, where is the birthplace of Nanyue religious culture.

The mountain boosts charming sceneries with precipitous cliffs on three sides. More than 150 natural sceneries and 120 historic cultural sites surround the Yao people who live here. The mountain borders Dongjiang Lake tourism region to the south, Emperor Yan Mausoleum and Jinggang Mountain to the east, Hengshan Mountain to the north as well as Feitian Mountain and Suxianling the west.

It is very convenient for transportation: 70-minute drive to Beijing-Zhuhai High-speed way and 40-minute to Dongjiang Lake tourism region.
