Jiaodingwu Meeting Site of Xiangnan Uprising is a national key cultural relics protection unit. It’s located in Ankang Road, Yonglejiang Town, Anren County. Built in 1642, it is a patriotic education base in Chenzhou City. 

 

With a total investment of 8 million yuan, the project was started in July 2022, and such sub-projects as ecological parking lot, cultural corridor and Party history exhibition will be built.

 

 

Xiangnan Uprising is an important part of Chinese revolution. Jiaodingwu was the turning point of the Xiangnan Uprising, which pushed Zhu De and Mao Zedong to join forces and broke a revolutionary path with Chinese characteristic to besiege the city from the countryside and to seize power by armed force.

 

Apart from using static graphic and textual displays, other forms like restored artistic scenes, sculpture and oil painting are also employed to greatly enhance the appeal of the museum.

 

 

The museum provides an important platform for displaying the glorious Party history of Anren County and an important base for Party members, cadres and young people to conduct patriotism and fine traditional education, as well as an important venue for Anren to develop Red tourism and improve cultural soft power.
