According to An’ren County Annals, during the 1,200 years in history, local people of An’ren have stuck to the habit of boiling herbal soup around Equinox Festival. They put over ten kinds of herbs with pig’s knuckle and black beans together, and boil them into thick black soup, which is not only nourishing, but also tastes delicious.
