100 Red tourist routes for the centenary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) were released recently, including 5 tourist routes in Hunan Province.

These 100 red tourist routes are divided into three categories. 52 theme routes are mainly to “recall the revolutionary history and inherit the struggling spirits”. 20 of them are designed to display the achievements in science and technology, as well as infrastructure construction, enabling people to enhance their cultural confidence. The remaining 28 routes demonstrate China’s efforts in poverty alleviation, rural vitalization and ecological improvement.
