During the May Day holiday, the first Intangible Cultural Heritage Cultural and Art Festival in Wenshi Yao Township will kick off, and there will be intangible cultural heritage creative handicraft exhibition, AR metaverse experience, and intangible cultural heritage experience activities like ancient method popcorn, stewed chicken with earth kiln, ciba making, tie dyeing, Song-style Diancha, and stove-boiled tea.

 

 

In order to showcase the unique wedding customs and culture of the Yao ethnic group, the scenic area will launch a series of activities such as “Chasing Love”, “Yao King Taking a Son-in-Law”, and “Spring Folk Songs” from May 1 to May 4. Meanwhile, there will be a Yao love epic performance “Chasing Love” and a parade of Yao weddings, inviting tourists to enjoy a feast of Yao ethnic wedding culture.

 

 

 

During the May Day holiday, the “Yangtian Lake Fantasy Parade” will be held in the Yangtian Lake Grassland, featuring activities such as bonfire parties and fireworks show.

 

 

 

During the May Day holiday, a Forest Healing Culture and Art Festival will open in the scenic area, including such activities as Healing Concert, Forest Small Theater, and Canyon Flying Experience. Besides, tourists can receive an exquisite gift as long as they release short videos related to Fuquan Hot Spring Resort, with a hashtag “Rucheng Hot Spring Resort” added to titles of videos on platforms such as Douyin, and locate Rucheng Fuquan Hot Spring Resort.
