Recommended ancient villages to appreciate misty rain in spring

Here are six recommended ancient villages in Chenzhou city for you to enjoy the misty rain in the early spring.

Aoshang Ancient Village
 
Aoshang Ancient Village, built along the mountain, is known as the most beautiful ancient village in Hunan province. It was built in the Ming and Qing dynasties, with a history of over 200 years.

Wayaoping Historical and Cultural Ancient Village
 
Wayaoping has been a gathering place of merchants from south to north since ancient times. It has been known as Little Nanjing in the Ming Dynasty.

Liuhuawan Ancient Village
 
Liuhuawan Village has the best preserved ancient folk houses in southern Hunan in Zixing City. It was originally built in Ming Dynasty and has a history of about 600 years, with more than 400 houses and an area of about 30,000 square meters.

There are lotus ponds, ancient trees, stone arch bridges in front of the village, and wooden stilted houses at the end of the village.
You can also appreciate lotus flowers in summer.

Xiaobu Ancient Village 
 
Xiaobu Ancient Village was founded during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, with a history of 550 years. There are 50 ancient houses built in the Ming Dynasty.

Roaming in Xiaobu Ancient Village, you can not only see the stage, teahouse, academy and other ancient buildings, as well as relics such as monuments, horse hitching stones.

Banliang Ancient Village
 
Banliang Ancient Village, known as the “first village in Southern Hunan”, has a history of more than 600 years. It is the only “Chinese historical and cultural village” in Chenzhou City.

Huangcao Town 
 
Huangcao Town is located in the southern border of Zixing City, with beautiful natural scenery. It looks like a paradise.
