September 16 marked the third anniversary of the opening of Chenzhou Beihu Airport. Over the past three years, the airport has become a “powerful engine” to promote the high-quality development of Chenzhou, and built an “air bridge” for the development of all-for-one tourism and the improvement of urban quality.

 

 

On this memorable day, standing signs celebrating its third anniversary were set up in the waiting hall of the airport for passengers to take photos in front of them and leave their sincerest wishes for the airport. Since its official opening, Chenzhou Beihu Airport has safely completed 11,500 flight takeoffs and landings, with a passenger throughput of 965,000. At present, the airport has partnered with six airlines including Juneyao Airlines, China United Airlines, Qingdao Airlines, and Chengdu Airlines to open eight air routes to 12 important domestic cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Kunming, Chongqing, Xi’an, Haikou, and Nanjing, effectively bringing the leading role of the civil aviation airport in the comprehensive transportation system into full play.

 

 

Chenzhou Beihu Airport has increased its air routes, bringing Chenzhou closer to the world. It has opened up a new channel for Chenzhou to attract guests from all over the world. Nowadays, it is welcoming changes and opportunities with a strong momentum of development.
