It was learned from Zixing Technology Bureau that Dongjiang Lake water source protection and study service platform project had finished the main part such as land acquisition, removal, filed engineering, walls, gates, comprehensive buildings, etc.. All these cost 3 million yuan. This platform will be built to be the first Hunan province wild research station of Asia-Europe water resource research and utilization.

The platform is replied on Bailang Earthquake Monitor Station and 3300 square meters of land and 3000 square meters of construction areas are planned. Once finished, it is capable of monitoring more than 70 water quality indexes, greatly contributing to different technology researches, heavy metal retreatment of Dongjiang Lake and Xiangjiang river etc.. It is planned to finish the water quality monitoring net construction and its relative research work before the end of 2013.
