The reconstruction and upgrading project of Yizhang martyrs cemetery was officially launched on November 15, 2012. It was reported that the project gained 30 million yuan investment, which covers 440mu areas with the key projects of red square, martyrs tomb area, heroes monument, martyrs list commemorate glory, etc.. Once finished, the project would be further divided into the revolution education area, leisure area, botany area, playing space for elders and children, ecological restoration area, and entrance square area. The newly built cemetery of revolutionary martyrs will become an education base for citizens to study and promote the revolutionary spirit, a recreational fitness resort as well as a new county name card of Yizhang County.
