China (Hunan, Guangdong and Jiangxi Province) “Red Triangle” Cultural and Ecological Tourism Festival was inaugurated in Rucheng County on December 23, 2012. Rucheng section of Xiarong expressway was opened to traffic on the same day. Thousands of people gathered in Lotus Square to celebrate the two big issues of Rucheng County.

This tourism festival is one of various activities of 2012 China Hunan International Tourism Festival & the 2nd China Chenzhou Leisure Tourism and Culture Festival. The activities of this tourism festival involve the opening ceremony, Zhou Dunyi and Rucheng & Neo-Confucianism and Chinese Traditional Native Social Symposium, inauguration ceremony of army flag sculpture of Rucheng Army Flag Square & launching ceremony of red tourism routes, 2012 Rucheng Economic and Trade Meeting, Hunan province Olympic champions’ travel to Rucheng & bicycle games crossing Jiulong river, and Rucheng red tourism work forum. In order to expand the tourism influence nationwide, the organization group of this tourism festival invited some red tourism experts and principals of travel agencies from Guangdong, Hunan, Jiangxi provinces to attend the festival and visit Rucheng County.

Ascendants of Generals, former provincial military command principal and Chenzhou municipal leaders participated in those relative activities.
