Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou city led a team to investigate Zixing city government’s work on establishing Dongjiang Lake to be national 5A scenic spot and required that the city’s government should try to successfully fulfill the establishment work within this year.

Dongjiang Lake is one of the key tourism industries in Chenzhou city and was paid much attention by the municipal party committee and government. It was followed compact time schedule in handling the establishment work after confirming the establishment target in 2009. Till now, 1.5 billion yuan have been placed on the 35 key projects construction to upgrade Dongjiang Lake condition.

Qu highly affirmed the preliminary establishment work handled by Zixing government. He also pointed out that more efforts needed to be further tried on the project to meet the time schedule well and upgrade the hardware and software condition of the scenic spot.

Qu stated that Dongjiang Lake should be tried to be improved as national 5A scenic spot within 2013 by all efforts, because it is one of the leading tourism resources of Chenzhou city and is concerned for the real success of“city in the forest, leisure city” project of Chenzhou city.

Qu also said in order to promote the establishment work, all the departments and Chenzhou people should take the action to do something. If so, Chenzhou tourism industry can be popularized national wide.
