500 Million Yuan Investment Hit in Zixing (Dongjiang Lake) Travel Promotion Conference in Guangzhou City

Zixing (Dongjiang lake) travel promotion conference was held in Panyu, Guangzhou city on April 26, 2013. Investment projects and fine tourism lines were highlighted on the conference. At the meantime, signing ceremony was held there to sign the cooperation contracts with some travel investors and agencies.

 

Followed with the target to establish Dongjiang lake to be national 5A scenic spot and Zixing city to be national tourist resort, Zixing government handled out a large-scale development of tourism resources from 2012. In 2013, besides the tourism infrastructure construction, development of tourism resources, tourism upgrading, etc., Zixing government also played much more attention on the tourism marketing, especially in the Pearl River Delta area. So after launching the series ads in Guangzhou metro stations and high speed train stations, Zixing government held this promotion conference in Guangzhou city to carry out further tourism promotion of Zixing city and upgraded popularization of Dongjiang lake tourism brand.

 

Dongjiang lake was famous as “Eastern Geneva”. Dongjiang lake scenic spot locates in Zixing city and covers an area of 200 square km. Dongjiang lake is the key part of the scenic spot where the tourists can enjoy the fogging small Dongjiang lake, drift, valleys, cultural street, famous temple, etc. After being approved as 4A level scenic spot, Dongjiang lake scenic spot management group was fighting for upgrading it to be national 5A level. Last September, 2012 China Hunan International Tourism Festival & the Second China Chenzhou International Leisure Tourism Festival was successfully held by Zixing government, which greatly helped to popularize Dongjiang lake tourism brand worldwide.

 

More than 130 travel investors and agencies were attracted to attend the promotion conference. 500 million yuan investment contracts were signed on site.
