It was learned that Zixing city was listed as one of the candidates of “global netizens’ recommended Chinese eco-cities”. Zixing city was the exclusive one from Hunan province. 

“Chinese cities list- global netizens’ recommended Chinese eco-cities” was network interactive activity hosted by China Radio International from 2010. Now it is the forth time. From May 3 to July 31, 2013, China Radio International, Chinese net and ten foreign nets would handle the promotion of this activity and vote issue simultaneously. Some famous medias home or abroad would be invited to take visits and reports for the candidates to provide the real ecology introduction of the cities for all the netizens. It was purposely to promote Chinese tourism resources worldwide by handling such kind of activity. 10 cities would be awarded with the reward in the early of August. An award ceremony would be held in the late of September. Some ambassadors and foreign media journalists would be invited to attend this ceremony to make further promotion of the 10 best eco-cities of China.
