The “Travel Act”television and telephone conference was held by the State Council recently. Some municipal leaders and principals of relative departments of Chenzhou city took part in the session set in Chenzhou.

In the second session of twelfth National People’s Congress Standing Committee, “Travel Act of People’s Republic of China” was signed by the President- Xi Jinping and officially released. It would be implemented from this October 1. 112 regulations were divided to 10 chapters on the “Travel Act” to list details on tourist, tourism planning, tourism management, tourism service contract, tourism safety, tourism supervision, tourism dispute handling, legal liability, etc.. According to the “Travel Act”, more specified responsibility and obligation were confirmed to the tourist, travel agency, and tourism supervision department which can help to promote the sound improvement of tourism industry of China.

As required on the conference, the study of “Travel Act”should be carried out by all local governments, especially for the relative departments to make the tourism industry workers well-known with main contents of the act, figure out assort mechanisms well-matched the new act, upgrade the public service, etc..
