Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government held a mobilization conference for the establishment of “Hot Spring City of China”

A mobilization conference for the establishment of “Hot Spring City of China” was held by Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government on July 11, 2013. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee emphasized on the conference Chenzhou tourism industry should be promoted with the hot spring tourism to establish the top level “Hot Spring City of China”. Li Kun- Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Land and Resources Office and Liu Miansong- Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Tourism Bureau attended the conference and delivered important speeches there. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City hosted the conference.

According to the arrangement of the conference, in the following 3-5 years, all departments should try their best to forge the new tourism name card of “Hot Spring City of China” and promote Chenzhou city’s fame as “forest city, leisure city”.

Xiang pointed out that all the departments should be aware of the significance on establishing “Hot Spring City of China”. It was very important to promote the hot spring tourism, accelerate industrial transformation of Chenzhou, upgrade the core competitiveness of Chenzhou, speed up the overall development of urban & rural areas and boost the take-off of Chenzhou city.

Xiang pointed out the six key work for handling out the establishment of “Hot Spring City of China” as follow: first, figuring scientific planning with detailed exploration; second, highlighting features with innovative development models; third, attracting more investment; forth, upgrading the infrastructure construction; fifth, carrying comprehensive protection and reasonable development; and six, keeping reform and innovation.

Xiang also stressed that all departments should work together to propagandize the establishment work.

Qu Hai asked that unified idea, swift action, concentrated strength, and strengthened measured should be placed on the establishment of “Hot Spring City of China” to make sure the establishment work can be handle out fluently.

Secretary of party committees of the districts and counties submitted their 2013 liability statement of the “Hot Spring City of China”.

Some municipal leaders of Chenzhou city, secretaries of party committees of districts and counties and principals of relative departments attended the conference.
