Opening ceremony of the second Chenzhou Tsingtao beer festival

First barrel of beer was opened on the ceremony

The opening ceremony for second Chenzhou Tsingtao Beer Festival with the theme of “passionate carnival, cheer for Chenzhou, beauty of Dongjiang lake” was held in the cultural square of Zixing city on July 19, 2013. Many tourists were gathered there to enjoy the charm of beer in this hot summer.

It was introduced that the festival was hosted by Zixing Government, Tsingtao Beer Hunan Sales Branch, and Tsingtao Beer (Chenzhou) Co., Ltd., which would last for half month. It was purposely to forge a beer festival with most impact and local features of China. In order to promote the transformation and upgrading of Zixing city’s tourism industry and upgrading of city level, this beer festival was listed as one of the projects for establishment of national 5A landscape in Dongjiang lake. The festival would be forged as one of the landscapes for Zixing city with most local features.

Besides enjoy the 110 years long Tsingtao beer culture, tourists can taste a special local commemorate beer named Zuimei Shanshui beer which was launched with the features of Dongjiang lake.

It was learned that the festival would last for half month till August 4, 2013. There would be different theme carnival activities every night in the same place during the festival.

Some performances with Chenzhou local features would be shown to the audience. At the meantime, nationwide delicious snacks and interesting games were set in the festival. All the tourists would have great fun to join in the festival.
