It was learned that the first Zixing “Dongjiang Lake” international folk songs festival would be held in Zixing city from September 12 to 15 this year. It was with the theme to “enjoy folk songs, drink Dongjiang lake beer and travel around Dongjiang lake”. Many media from Hunan province or abroad, visitors and performance groups would be gathered in Zixing city then.

It was introduced that the festival was hosted by Zixing Government and Chenzhou Tourism and Foreign Affairs Bureau, and was undertaken by Tsingtao Beer (Chenzhou ) Co., Ltd., Hunan Tianhan Cultural Media Group, Zixing Tourism Bureau, Hunan Dongjiang Lake Development Co., Ltd., Chenzhou Wulianguan Tourism Agency , etc.. It was purposely to popularize Dongjiang lake brand worldwide by holding such kind of cultural festival. At the meantime, Chenzhou city would be promoted as well with such famous brand.

It was introduced by the undertaken parties that the folk songs festival would be carried out on the background of Dongjiang Lake. Some international elements as international folk songs, dances, acrobatics and others would be shown on this festival as well. Domestic and abroad performance groups with more than 200 people would present their shows in the festival. According to the time schedule figured out by the undertaken parties that during the four-day festival, one day would be for Chinese folk songs, and the rest three days were for international elements’show with different themes as European’s romance, African’s passion, American’s rock, etc.. Abundant gorgeous performances would be presented to all audiences during this four-day festival.
