It was reported that “three rural areas” investigation team of Changsha University of Science and Technology was invited by Banliang village’s working team to visit Banliang ancient village and present their suggestions on further promotion of its tourism.

Banliang village was honored as one of Chinese historical cultural villages in 2010, which was the exclusive one available in Chenzhou city. In order to promote its tourism development, the special working team dispatched by Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee explored more ideas on it. To invite the “three rural areas” investigation team of Changsha University of Science and Technology was one of their new ideas. This investigation activity was last for about one week. Students and teachers of this investigation team took detailed investigation on Banliang ancient village’s buildings, historical stories, technicians, legends, etc. by visiting the building on site and talking with Banliang villagers. It was advised by the investigation team that enhanced protection actions should be taken by the village to repair the ancient buildings and figure out its tourism development planning. Some tourism items concerning south Hunan historical culture, architectural art, and south Hunan folk culture could be developed out on the basis of Banliang ancient folk buildings. Furthermore, some agricultural sightseeing, vegetable and fruit gardens could be explored out accordingly.
