Production procedure of Tofu

Grand opening ceremony of happy Xiaoxiang- 3rd Lingyun Tofu folk cultural festival was held on September 8, 2013 in Lingyun village of Jiahe county. It was with the theme of“enjoy Tofu culture in Lingyun”.

Jiahe county locates in the south of Hunan province. Tianxin town where was just upgraded from village to town this June is its central area. In this May and July, it was awarded as a beautiful environment town of Hunan province and a happiest town of Hunan province respectively. Lingyun village is one of the villages of Tianxin town where is famous for its Tofu culture.

It was purposely to deeply discover the farming culture with unique local folk cultural features by holding this festival. The government is trying to improve to Lingyun ancient village to be a new film and television town of south China, so it can play the best role of its culture, food and tourism to improve Jiahe county’s economical and social development, even Chenzhou city’s tourism development.

Six different theme activities concerned for the tourism development and Tofu culture would be held during this festival. It was introduced by the staff of the sponsor that this 3rd Lingyun Tofu cultural festival would greatly help to upgrade Jiahe county’s tourism industry especially the folk cultural tourism. With the government’s great efforts and successful development, Jiahe county was selected as a shooting site for many televisions. Lingyuan county would be improved as the first tourism line for this kind of travel.

It was reported that many new activities were held in this festival compared with previous two versions. Some excellent folk songs were collected before the opening ceremony of this festival, which were presented to the audience on this ceremony by local singers.

Li Shangde- Deputy Director of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee and Zeng Fanan- former Deputy Minister of Hunan Radio and Television Ministry and Director of Hunan TV Station were invited to attend this opening ceremony.
