It was reported from Rucheng Sports Bureau that 29 people registered to attend the 3rd trans-Jiulong river cycling on September 16, 2013. Till now, 131 people from Hunan province, Guangdong province, Jiangxi province, Hong Kong and Macau have submitted their application. It was learned that this cycling was one of the activities for the closing ceremony of 2013 China Chenzhou International Leisure Tourism and Culture Festival. This ceremony would be held in Jiulongjiang National Forest Park in Rucheng county on September 28, 2013.

Rucheng county was one of the seven historical and cultural county of Hunan province for its abundant and gorgeous natural resources and human cultural resources. Followed with the arrangement of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government, Rucheng county was in charge of the preparation for closing ceremony of 2013 China Chenzhou International Leisure Tourism and Culture Festival. Rucheng county played much attention on the preparation work on the receipt of this task and carried out series measures to mobilize all departments and people of Rucheng county to take part in the preparation work to present an excellent closing ceremony to all attendants.

It was introduced that the key activities for the closing ceremony were as follow: the 3rd trans-Jiulong river cycling, artistic performance for the closing ceremony, tourism promotion conference of “beautiful Rucheng county”, photographic exhibition, symposium for the development of fine tourism routes, etc.. All the activities would be held from September 27 to 29, 2013.
