Closing ceremony of 2013 China Chenzhou International Leisure Tourism and Culture Festival was held in Rucheng county on September 29, 2013

Award ceremony for Jiulongjiang National Forest Park as national 4A landscape

Closing ceremony of 2013 China Chenzhou International Leisure Tourism and Culture Festival was held in Rucheng county on September 29, 2013.

Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City delivered a speech on the closing ceremony and announced its closing. On the ceremony, Qu presented the awards for the winners of 2013 Hunan Jiulongjiang 3rd Cycling Challenge as well. Zhang Xihui- Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City hosted the closing ceremony. An award ceremony for Jiulongjiang National Forest Park as national 4A landscape was also handled on the closing ceremony. Gao Yangxian- Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Tourism Bureau presented the awarded of national 4A landscape to the park.

According to the arrangement, the opening ceremony of this festival was held in Guiyang county, while its closing ceremony in Rucheng county. 31 activities of 6 categories were handled in the counties and cities of Chenzhou city during this 14-day festival. All activities were focused on the theme of “city in the forest, leisure city” which greatly helped to show the unique features of Chenzhou city’s tourism culture.

“It was a most successful tourism festival with largest scale and highest standards compared with earlier tourism festivals.” praised by Qu Hai. Followed with the principal to promote the tourism and development by handling some activities, Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government played much attention on the this tourism festival. With all the efforts of departments and Chenzhou people, it was with a very good effect to show a new image of Chenzhou city nationwide even international wide. 

Focusing on the tourism theme “city in the forest, leisure city”, Chenzhou city’s historical cultural and natural charms were presented worldwide. At the meantime, Chenzhou city’s tourism project construction and city management level were upgraded greatly. Both those achievements for the tourism festival helped to expand the investment attraction, complete city service function, and upgrade city level.

Qu also stated that the cadres who were in charge of this issue improved themselves by handling the details, which would be helpful for the further promotion of Chenzhou city’s development. It planned to further expand the tourism industry with the abundant tourism resources.

Different activities were held on the closing ceremony such as 2013 Hunan Jiulongjiang 3rd Cycling Challenge, exhibition named “beautiful Rucheng”, promotion conference for Rucheng county’s tourism & symposium on tourism development, 2013 Rucheng economy and trade coordination conference, etc.. All the activities helped to propaganda the excellent investment condition of Rucheng county and promote Rucheng county’s tourism development.

Fan Zhongda- Deputy Director of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress and Li Xuelian- Deputy Chairman of Chenzhou Municipal CPPCC attended the closing ceremony.
