It was reported that a leadership group conference concerned for construction of “hot spring city of China” was held in Chenzhou city on Oct. 17, 2013。 Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee hosted the conference. It was purposely to discuss and arrange the construction work of “hot spring city of China”and promote its further improvement.

Different work concerned for“hot spring city of China”project was carried out well in Chenzhou city from the promotion conference held on this July 11. Per the planning formulation work, the draft of “general solution for Chenzhou city’s construction of ‘hot spring city of China’” has been finished and was under the committee stage. Per the resource exploration work, Chenzhou Mining Investment Company organized three advance geological exploration units to handle 13 geothermal prospecting work, which was planned to be finished within this October. Per the investment attraction work, some formal cooperation agreements have been signed while some were under the negotiation. Per the projects construction, the hot spring projects were launched in counties of Chenzhou city successively.

In order to comprehensively promote the construction of “hot spring city of China”, working groups of construction of “hot spring city of China”were formed on the conference and some files on hot spring tourism projects construction, “three-year action plan” on construction of “hot spring city of China”, etc. were approved on the conference as well. According to the discussion on the conference, high level investment attraction conference for hot spring project construction would be held at the end of this year and tourism festivals with the theme of hot spring would be held in 2014.

Xiang Lili highly affirmed the work carried out by the departments and counties on construction of “hot spring city of China”. Xiang pointed out that specified working points and mechanism should be figured out to promote the construction work. The preliminary assessment on“general solution for Chenzhou city’s construction of ‘hot spring city of China’” should be finished at the end of this October. Resource exploration work on both urban areas and whole city should be finished before end of this year and next March respectively. One hot spring tourism project should be handled out by each counties and districts with relative strategic investor.

Xiang emphasized that there were more workings and difficulties concerned for the construction of “hot spring city of China”, so special measures and promotion mechanisms should be figured out to improve the development of it. All the departments should enhance their supports on the promotion of this construction issue with better service.
