Chenzhou week of the ninth China (Beijing) Garden Expo was held on October 25-27, 2013 in Beijing. The charming Chenzhou sceneries attracted many visitors gathered here.
Hunan Kunqu opera was one of the special features of Chenzhou park in this expo. Audiences were amazed to watch such kind of performance from Chenzhou city.
Besides this opera, three more features were the key reasons to attract so many visitors to linger their steps in Chenzhou park.

First, city in forest: a hollowed-out work seal character of ancient“郴（Chinese character of Chen）” was placed on the landscape wall. On seeing that word, visitors can read out its meaning of “city in forest” of Chenzhou city. Chenzhou city locates in the south of Hunan province where joins with Nanling mountain, which enabled Chenzhou city to be surrounded with green mountains.

Second, Chinese women volley ball team park: sculpture of five successive championships of Chinese women volleyball team and sculpture of heroic postures of the team members were placed in Chenzhou park of this expo. All Chinese people are proud and familiar with the great achievement reached by Chinese women volleyball team for their five successive championships from 1981 to 1986. As the training base of Chinese volleyball team during this period, Chenzhou city and Chenzhou people witnessed the hard working and progress of the team.

Third, blessing mountain and water: in the park, visitors can enjoy blessing atmospheres of Chenzhou city with the special landscapes, sculptures and other pictures with blessing meanings.
