Visitors enjoyed Sakura in the cold winter

It became cold in the last day of 2014 Spring Festival on February 6, 2014 in Guiyang county. But all Sakura planted in Guiyang Agricultural Science Institution kept blossoming in this cold weather. Many visitors were attracted to enjoy the beautiful flowers there.

It was introduced that more than 10 million yuan was placed on this Sakura garden, covering 1200mu areas. 4 different Sakura species were planted there, which usually blossom in Spring and Summer. But because of the high temperature in this winter, the Sakura blossomed earlier than previous years. Wu Yancai- Director of Guiyang Agricultural Science Institution said to the reporters that it planned to introduce more supporting projects into the garden to promote the tourism development of this Sakura garden. It would be kept opening to public for free.

Zhou Yijun who was from Zhangjiang, Guangdong province visited the garden with his wife who was from Guiyang county and some relatives. It was so happy for them to see such beautiful flowers during that cold winter.

Chen Lifen- one of the residents of Guiyang county visited the garden for three times in this holiday. It was introduced by Chen that in the first two times, because of the good weather, many visitors gathered in the garden. It was nice for the residents to enjoy weekend and holidays there in future.
