It was learned from Chenzhou West Station that 5000 passengers were delivered on February 7, 2014. Though it was just half volume of February 6, 2014- the first peak time of transportation, it was still high pressure for the station to handle on that day. Some high-speed rails were delayed by the bad weather in north China.
When the reporters arrived at the station in the morning, passengers waited there in queue. Though some rails delayed, it was luckily that all were not so long time for them to wait. It was learned that the longest waiting time on that day was 24 minutes. Most of others were less than 5 minutes.
But people who chose the rails in that afternoon were not so lucky then for some rails delayed for more than one hour. It was said by a deputy chief of the station that because of the snowy weather in north China, some high-speed rails were decelerated which was the key reason for the delay. Some passengers changed to take other rails. On other hand, the ordinary trains were followed with the time schedule well during that day.
